Our sourdough.
Made by using a natural levain as the only raising agent, the full flavour of our naturally levained artisan sourdough is unlocked through a long proving process, which helps to develop complex flavour profiles. The bulk fermentation promotes the cultivation of healthy bacterias which aid in digestion and gut health. The long proving process allows each loaf to develop a a natural sour tasting flavour.
The field loaf
Our original sourdough loaf, baked with a mixture of white and wholemeal flour. A comforting bread with a crisp crust and an open fluffy crumb, perfect for mopping up all kinds of sauces, yet also the integrity needed for a great sandwich.
